Andrei Makarevich won a lawsuit to protect honor and dignity to the Izvestia newspaper. The reason for the lawsuit was an article by Alexander Prokhanov, which claimed that Makarevich spoke with a concert in front of the Ukrainian troops in Slavyansk.
