Sony published, but quickly removed the advertising video containing sexual subtext from its official channel. In the video, a girl in a doctor’s costume claims that “he knows that you have already done this today,” and is interested in the audience whether they are concerned about what they are doing “this” too often. “Everyone is engaged in this because it is amazing,” the nurse assures, and at the end of the advertisement it turns out that we are talking about playing the portable console PS Vita.
In 2010, advertising of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox 360 console was published, which also used sexual connotation. But if in the Sony video a girl hinted at masturbation, then in an advertisement for her competitors an elderly man described the scenes of sex, which turn out to be the sessions of the game.
The slogan "Anyone can be a gamer" adds Sony several points. But this advertising is problematic for a number of reasons. For example, why does the doctor use IMAC G4 suddenly? (Eng. Yaz.).
