The director's condition is assessed as serious. He was diagnosed with acute cerebrovascular accident.

- Eldar Ryazanov is one of the greatest directors of Soviet and Russian cinema. After graduating from VGIK in 1950, he took up documentary filmmaking, but 5 years later he began making feature films. His first independent work - the film "Carnival Night" with Lyudmila Gurchenko in the title role, released in 1956 - became the leader of the box office.
- Among other paintings by Ryazanov are “Hussar Ballad”, “Beware of the Car”, “Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!”, “Office Romance”, “Station for Two”, “Garage” and “Cruel Romance”. All of them have become classics of Soviet cinema.
