Eldar Ryazanov was hospitalized for examination
On November 24, director Eldar Ryazanov was taken to the Burdenko Hospital for examination. Reports that he was admitted to the hospital in serious condition have not been confirmed.
“Most likely, there is no stroke - Eldar Alexandrovich just felt unwell, there was nothing wrong with him,” said one of the friends of the director’s family. It is expected that Ryazanov will spend no more than two or three days in the hospital.
Earlier it was reported that Ryazanov was hospitalized in serious condition with a diagnosis of "acute cerebrovascular accident."
“At first they wanted to do without a hospital, but the doctor advised to be hospitalized just in case and examined. Going to the hospital, Ryazanov was cheerful and even joked, ”added the source of the agency.
- Eldar Ryazanov is one of the greatest directors of Soviet and Russian cinema. After graduating from VGIK in 1950, he took up documentary filmmaking, but 5 years later he began making feature films.
