The ECHR ordered Russia to pay the convicted ex-mayor of Makhachkala Said Amirov 15 thousand euros compensation for non-pecuniary damage for the non-ordering of medical care in the pre-trial detention center. Amirov’s complaint was partially satisfied. The Strasbourg Court found Russia guilty of violation of Article 3 (prohibition of torture) of the European Convention.
