The leader of the rally “For decent medicine” was detained in Kudymkar

A rally "For Decent Medicine" was held in Kudymkar: the participants gathered to protest against the quality of local healthcare - the doctors of the district hospital are blamed for the death of 22 babies. The rally was not approved by the local authorities. Initially, the rally was planned to be held near the city square, but since this was not allowed, people gathered near the building of the Parma Novosti newspaper, reports Properm.ru. At the same time, the refusal to hold the rally became known only on the evening before the event. An actor from the Kudymkar Drama Theater, Albert Makarov, was asked to lead the rally. While the rally was going on, the police did not intervene. As writes journalist Maria Eismont on Facebook, the administration representative asked the audience to disperse, to which Makarov replied: “Thank you for the interesting information. We continue". However, at the end of the event, Makarov was detained. According to Eismont, the police then came to the editorial building. Three participants in the event, who had complaints from the police, refused to go to the police, so the protocols began to be drawn up right on the spot. "Properm.ru" reports that the participants of the event fear pressure at work in connection with the rally. Eismont claims that this was the first protest rally in the city's history.
