Roskomnadzor removed the block from the video hosting Vimeo, an analogue of YouTube, after the administration of the resource deleted the Islamic State video, Maxim Ksenzov, deputy head of the supervisory agency, said on his Twitter.
On Facebook, Roskomnadzor specified that access to the resource was restored at 19:10 Moscow time.
Earlier today, Roskomnadzor added Vimeo to the registry of banned sites because of the Islamic State terrorist organization's movie, Flames of War, hosted there. This was stated on the department's Facebook page. Moreover, Roskomnadzor blocked not the page on which the video was published, but the entire site.
In the comments, a representative of the department wrote that the video hosting had previously ignored the requirements of the Prosecutor General's Office and Roskomnadzor.
