On the first day of winter, the ruble rate fluctuated 10% up and down: during the day the dollar rose to 54 rubles, but then, most likely, the Central Bank intervened , and after its interventions the dollar rolled up to 51.6 rubles. I think that the inhabitants should not try to play on this difference: it is likely to go broke, because there is no guarantee that the dollar will continue to rise in price. The most correct position is the one that allows you to sleep calmly, not to follow the quotes on the Internet and not suffer about the course. How to achieve this?
Firstly, you need to understand what goods the purchasing power of your savings should be more focused on: imported (then it is important to understand whether they are tied to dollars or to the euro) or domestic. Depending on this, and store them in rubles, in currency or try to evaluate the ratio of your ruble and foreign exchange expenses and store savings in the same proportion. If you need to buy a currency, that is, it will be more calm to keep money in dollars and when moving the course you will not have a desire to convert it into anything else, then you can buy dollars now, while the Central Bank has influenced the market and the dollar is relatively cheap. You should not change all the money for dollars if significant expenses are coming in rubles: utilities and other services, products in the market, the payment of ruble loan. Ruble prices for domestic goods are growing much more slowly than the dollar - if the ruble falls by 30%, this gives an average inflation for only a few percent. And until the salaries in Russia are in growth, services will not rise significantly either. It is better to store savings on deposit, but within the amount of insurance amount. Now banks are ready to increase the rates in currency, so it makes sense to look for the most profitable option. If you put off the purchase of long -term goods, then it makes sense to buy them now. After all, the price tags in stores have not yet been redrawn in real time along with the movement of the course. So now you can make a profitable purchase in almost any field: computer equipment, real estate, cars depending on the disposable amount. As an option, for investing, you can consider the Russian stock market, but only in the long run - ten years. Investing on the horizon of 1-2 years I would be refrained. There is a feeling that the crisis has not yet reached its bottom, and it is possible that Russian actions will soon be cheaper. Western promotions are now at the maximum, and it makes sense to buy them, too, only for the long -term perspective.
