Vanguard projection: noise transformation

The research program “Projections of the avant-garde”, which started in April 2014, was a set of various events: mini-conferences, lectures, discussions, musical and theatrical reconstructions, film screenings and excursions.

The program was attended by leading specialists from various branches of humanitarian knowledge: Ekaterina Bobrinskaya, Jean-Claude Markade (France), Christina Kayer (USA), Kristina Lodder (Great Britain), Nina Guryanova (USA) and many others.

The second semester of the Vanguard projections is held in December 2014. The program is transformed into a three -day marathon, uniting performances, performances, lectures and film screenings dedicated to the modern reconstruction of the avant -garde. Artists, directors, musicians today return to the vanguard, rethinking it through artistic reconstructions and new works, which are based on experiments of the 1910-1920s. The second semester of the program will consist of two parts: total live installation and conference.

The total live installation dedicated to the synthesis of arts represents reconstruction in music, poetry, visual art, theater, architecture and cinema. The exposition includes objects and artifacts of existing reconstructions, such as the first experience of restoring the futuristic opera “Victory over the Sun” by the director Galina Gubanova, the film reconstruction of Nikolai Uvolov “Hold the Thief”, the project of Vyacheslav Kolyichuk “Stereraxy of the Tower of the III of the III Vladimir Tatlin” and others.

Live performances prepared specifically for the program will also be presented: the new project of the director Galina Gubanova -the poetical and plastic production of Velir based on the “superpower” by V. Khlebnikov “Zangezi”, the sound performance “Transformation of the noise” of Peter Aidu , together on the experience of Persimphans, multimedia plastic plastic Performance "Traveling of the Quadratics" by Anna Kolyichuk in the author’s reconstruction. Especially for the program, an audio object of poetic reading of the scores of Sergey Biryukov will be created.

All materials of the “Projections of the Avangard” program will make up a unique base for studying the history of avant -garde and modern art practices and will be presented in the public domain on the official website of the MBEM MVO.

“Traveling of the square” is an experiment of the Total Theater Vyacheslav Kolyichuk. This theater develops the ideas of Tatlin, Rodchenko, Malevich and Johanson and is primarily interesting to search for color and sound directing, kinetic and sound costume and transforming theatrical space.

The performance “Traveling of the square” filled with the Suprematic figures appeals to the artistic avant-garde of the 20s and the phenomenon of children's consciousness important to it.
