"Good scenarios for Russia" are accepted until January 15

The jury of the literary contest “Good scenarios for Russia” announced the extension of the time for receiving texts until January 15, 2015, as well as the removal of restrictions on the volume of texts and their format.

The fact that the NPO “Cultural Alliance” holds the competition “Good scenarios for Russia” became known in April this year. The organizers of the competition reported that it arose as a “reaction to widespread disbelief in the possibility of positive changes in Russia” and the “lack of a positive scenario” of its future fate. The competition is accepted for the stories of professional writers and amateur writers about how "civilized Russia could look like, in which we all would like to live."

The jury, which includes Boris Akunin, Marat Gelman, Yuri Saprykin, Maria Stepanova and Mikhail Khodorkovsky, was supposed to summarize the contest during August, a long-list was formed, but then the terms of the competition moved.

All works included in the long list are available online . Internet users have the opportunity to vote for them, according to the results of this vote, it is supposed to give a prize of reader sympathies.

Dear friends, primarily writers who took part in the competition “Good scenarios for Russia”, but also those who believed and believe with us that in literary -central Russia a good scenario can be born not in the mind of politics, but in a literary text, we apologize for a half -year delay in summing up the results of the competition.

While you wrote, and we read the “good scenarios” you sent, the leadership of our country began to realize one of the worst and we fabulously monitored the rapid development of this, alas, non -literary plot.

Today, when we are already accustomed to the rate of fall, the organizers of the competition are ready to resume work. In connection with sharply changed circumstances, we announce the additional texts until January 15, 2015. In addition, we remove the restrictions on the volume of texts and their format. On March 30, we will declare a short list of ten items. In April, in any weather, we choose the winner. The remaining conditions remain in force.
