© TV channel "Culture"On Thursday, December 4, at a meeting of the Bolshoi Bolshoi Theater, the new chairman of his executive committee was elected. He became the presidential special representative for international cultural cooperation, ex-minister of culture Mikhail Shvydka.
He replaced Alexander Budberg in this post, the press center of the Bolshoi Theater reports.
Budberg, who headed the Executive Committee for six years, withdrew his candidacy, recommending to colleagues to choose Olga Golodets, who, in turn, said that she was busy and was not going to lead the executive committee for this position, Kommersant notes.
The Executive Committee, operating in the period between the meetings of the Board of Trustees, is ongoing support for the activities of the theater and is formed from among authorized representatives of members of the Board of Trustees.
Shvyka will be headed by the executive committee from December 2014 to December 2016.
