The Belarusian political prisoner Vasily Parfenkov was released from IK-9 strict regime in the city of Gorki Mogilev region at the end of the deadline. It is reported by Khartya'97.

On December 5, 2013, the judge of the Pervomaisky District Court of Minsk Leonid Ermolelenkov sentenced Parfenkov to one year of strict regime with forced "treatment from chronic alcoholism." The opposition was found guilty under Article 421 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (non -compliance with the requirements of preventive supervision). He was given the maximum term provided for in this article.

At the trial, Parfenkov refused to testify, saying that he did not consider the court objective. “I never considered the verdict against me legal, as well as the establishment of preventive supervision, and I will not consider them legal,” the opposition said.

In September 2013, Parfenkov and another former Politzek, Vladimir Eremenok, were sentenced to five days of arrest under Part 2 of Article 24.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Belarus (repeated violation of the rules of preventive supervision) and were placed in the center of isolation of the offenders - an analogue of the Russian special receiver for administratively arrested. At the end of the arrest of Eremenk, they released, and Parfenkov was sent to LTP No. 1 for a year in Svetlogorsk, Gomel region. In December 2013, he was delivered from the LTP under the escort in December 2013.

“In our country, you can make a finished alcoholic from anyone,” the Politsek explained the cause of his premises in the LTP. “During the examination, they measured the pressure, tapped the knees on the knees and put the 2nd stage of alcoholism.”

This was already the second sentence to Parfenkov under the 421st article. In August 2012 - February 2013, he left for a half -year arrest of a similar charges.

On February 17, 2011, the Judge of the Frunze District Court of Minsk Olga Komar sentenced Parfenkova to four years in strict regime for participating in the protest on the 2010 presidential election day. She found the activist guilty under Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (participation in riots). Parfenkova was also obliged to compensate for material damage in the amount of more than 14 million Belarusian rubles (approximately $ 4680), which he allegedly caused the building of the government of the government. The activist was the first convicted in the case of "riots" on election day.

In August 2011, President Alexander Lukashenko pardoned Parfenkov. After liberation, the opposition returned to active socio-political work. To stop this activity, in January 2012, Parfenkov established preventive supervision.
