Near the traditional picket, which the Solidarity movement holds in Moscow every weekend, this time a group of about 20 people gathered, among whom activists of the pro-Kremlin movement were noticed. Some time later, they began to attack the picketers: they tore out posters and flags, broke the poles, and in some places it turned into an open fight. About five men took part in the attack, according to Solidarity activists.
It is worth noting that the picket, which this time took place in Sokolniki, was initially not attended by the police, who had come to previous pickets, checked the agreement and remained to protect public order. Despite the fact that the police were called and called, they appeared only 10 minutes after the end of the conflict, which the activists had to decide on their own. Also, today's action was characterized by a relatively large number of provocateurs, who had previously appeared at solidarity pickets, but not in such numbers.
Despite the fact that the police arrived at the picket site too late, the well-known NOD activist Gosha Tarasevich was detained, about whom it turned out some time ago that he was a professional actor . Tarasevich was taken to the Sokolniki police station, three Solidarity activists Alexander Zaporozhtsev, Yury Konstantinov and Mikhail Krieger wrote statements about the attack on them there. The further fate of the actor is unknown.
