The Duma faction of the LDPR prepared a bill on returning to the school program of elementary military training. This was reported by "Independent Gazeta". The document was sent to receive reviews to the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education. After receiving reviews, it will be entered in the lower ward.
“Each Russian, an adult or small one, must be able to own weapons,” Roman Khudyakov, Roman Khudyakov, explained the meaning of the initiative of the Zhirinsky deputy. “If there is a military aggression against Russia, any person must stand guard of his homeland.”
The return to the school curriculum of the NVP, according to Khudyakov, will also solve the problem of deviators from the army, as it will make it possible to evaluate the real physical condition of schoolchildren. “In the middle classes, they run and jump in physical education lessons, fight and fill their bumps. And as soon as the draft age occurs, they immediately have a bouquet of various diseases, which, of course, cannot go into the army,” the Zhirinovets complained. Meanwhile, he added, after included in the NVP lessons program, "closer to the draft age, it will be possible to say in advance which of the teenagers really cannot go to serve, and who is just a malicious bias."
According to the publication, the State Duma also discusses the introduction of a register of potential conscripts. What this document should be and in what faction such an initiative arose, the newspaper, however, does not specify.
Meanwhile, the Communist Party is also preparing a bill on the return of NVP to the school curriculum. According to the party, the refusal of this subject "inflicted both physical and moral harm to the cause of raising young people and their preparation for the army." The same bill proposes to introduce mandatory two-week fees at military bases for 10- and 11-graders, as well as arrange paramilitary campaigns and military sports games like "Zarnitsa" for schoolchildren.
“Children in this way will be able to get the primary idea of discipline, the army, and military charters,” said Vadim Soloviev, head of the legal service of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. “This will improve the quality of Russian conscripts. And then the current hands and legs tremble with one type of barracks.”
Another advantage of the return of the NVP to schools, the communist added, and the employment of retired officers will be. “With (the Minister of Defense of Anatolia. - Ed.) Serdyukov there were great abbreviations,” said Soloviev. “Many officers were left without work, young guys who returned from hot spots also could not attach anywhere. Most have gone to work. And our initiative will allow them to do more useful business for the country.”
The deputy added that it is assumed to introduce an NVP into the school curriculum in accordance with the bill of his faction already in the 2015/16 academic year.
In the faction of "Fair Russia" the initiatives of colleagues were approved. “I myself went through the NVP as part of the school curriculum and I don’t remember anything bad about this subject,” Dmitry Gorovtsov, deputy head of the Duma Security Committee, noted.
