Bloomberg editor-in-chief Matthew Winkler has resigned. His place was taken by John Mickelthwaite, who previously served as editor-in-chief of The Economist.
Winkler is the co-founder of the Bloomberg agency, which he co-created with Michael Bloomberg. Matthew Winkler has led the agency since its inception in 1990. Prior to that, he worked for The Wall Street Journal. Winkler is the co-author of a book about Michael Bloomberg, as well as a guide for journalists called Bloomberg Way.
Winkler will remain as honorary chief editor, whatever that means. (English.)
