The famous Brazilian football player Pele was discharged from the hospital in Sao Paulo on December 9. Pele, 74, was admitted to the hospital on November 13 for elective surgery to remove kidney stones. The surgery was successful, and two days later the doctors allowed Pele to leave the hospital.
However, on November 24, the famous football player was urgently hospitalized due to an infection that arose after the operation. He was placed in intensive care and had several sessions of hemodialysis.
While in the hospital, Pele recorded a video message for his fans in which he thanked them for taking care of his health.
Doctors at a hospital in Sao Paulo say Pelé has "successfully recovered" from his illness.
