- One of the prisoners of pre -trial detention center No. 1 to the legal requirements of employees to leave the camera refused and began to call other prisoners to membership. The ones located in the next cell began to knock on the door, pour water into the corridor, arrange smoke, setting fire to scraps of cotton wool from the mattress, and call on other convicts to maintain an insurance action.

According to Emelyanova, about a hundred people joined the rebellion. Eight prisoners in different cameras inflicted “minor forearms” for themselves, they all immediately provided medical care. Special means and physical strength were not applied to the convicts, there are no victims. About 20 people gathered at the pre -trial detention center, mainly young people. The police set up a cordon. The leadership of the GUFSIN in the Chelyabinsk region, the prosecutor’s office, the police, the FSB, the Investigative Committee, as well as members of the regional public observation commission (PMC), left for the emergency.
