Dr. Dre, who earned $620 million.
The record-breaking income of Dr. Dre didn't get his money's worth directly from his music career, but from the sale of his stake in headphone company Beats. Beats was sold to Apple for $3 billion.
The second place in the list of the highest paid musicians was taken by the singer Beyoncé, who earned $115 million from the tour, advertising and sales of the album.
Third place went to The Eagles, who received $100 million from the tour. Fourth place went to Bon Jovi with $82 million, and Bruce Springsteen rounded out the top five with $81 million.
“It’s safe to say that headphones are a good business,” hip-hop artist DJ Khaled told the magazine, commenting on Dr. Dre (English).
