More than 10 people were detained in Ryazan

More than ten people were detained who were going to hold a rally in Ryazan on Victory Square on the occasion of the anniversary of the events on Manezhnaya Square in Moscow in 2010. As eyewitnesses told OVD-Info, young people were detained on the way to the square. They did not chant anything, they walked without symbols, they only had bags in their hands, in which there were candles and portraits. At present, the detainees have been taken to the police department of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Ryazan. They are required to write explanatory notes, otherwise they threaten to draw up protocols under administrative articles.

Earlier, the city administration refused local nationalists to agree to an event in the city center, offering instead, according to the organizers, a deserted place. Nevertheless, the nationalists planned to gather in the center. A day earlier, nationalists Alexander Samokhin and Nikolai Kolyshkin were interviewed by employees of the Center for Combating Extremism, who accused them of disseminating information about the event the day before the notification was given. A protocol was drawn up against Kolyshkin under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
