AvtoVAZ employees will reach a rally against abbreviations and low salaries

The independent trade union of AvtoVAZ employees, the largest Russian car manufacturer, on Sunday holds a rally against abbreviations and low salaries in Togliatti. The organizers hope for a turnout of thousands of people.

“The basic requirements put forward at the rally is an offer to the management of the negotiations, stop staffing, increase the salary of the enterprise employees, including re -examine the issue of premium (for the year), the conditions for the payment of which were previously unknown to the workers,” the Chairman of the Unity of the Independent Unity of the Unity of the Independent Union Peter Zolotarev told.

This year, 13 thousand people were dismissed from the car factory this year, he recalls. At the end of October, the average salary was about 28 thousand rubles. And this is against the background of rising prices for goods and services. The leadership of AvtoVAZ refuses to negotiate with the trade union, reports Echo of Moscow .

Personnel reduction in 2015 is not planned, at the end of October at a meeting with the workers of the plant, AvtoVAZ President Bu Andersson. The meeting was attended by nearly 6 thousand employees of the car concert. "We do not plan to reduce people in 2015. But we plan to continue the translations of the staff between the units. And most importantly, we must raise our performance by 10-15 percent," the top manager said. According to him, the team of the plant deserves salaries. “But first, the company should become profitable. According to the results of 2014, we must be crazy. And funds are already being laid in the budget of 2015 to increase salary,” the head of the car factory said.

In 2014, at AvtoVAZ, in order to reduce the costs of the enterprise, optimization of the number of personnel began. If at the end of December 2013 65.8 thousand people worked at the plant, then by the end of 2014, the total number of staff should be about 53 thousand people.
