A little earlier, the euro for the first time in history rose in price above 75 rubles. At 15:53 Monday, the European currency rate amounted to 75.20 rubles.
According to Lenta.ru, the official dollar exchange rate set by the Central Bank for December 16 is only 58.35 rubles, and the official euro exchange rate is 72.66 rubles.
Meanwhile, the price of oil remains low. Brent is traded on the ICE exchange for about 62.55 dollars per barrel.
