Nadezhda Savchenko went on a hunger strike

Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, accused in the Russian Federation of complicity in the murders of Russian journalists, went on a hunger strike. She decided on such an action because an otolaryngologist was not allowed to see her. Savchenko fears that without treatment he may lose his hearing. Savchenko caught a cold in her ear while being transported in September.
