Scorpions will celebrate the 50th anniversary in Russia

In 2015, the German rock band Scorpions in honor of its 50th anniversary will go on a world tour, in the schedule of which the 12 largest cities in Russia.

On May 25, on the birthday of the soloist of the group Klaus Mine, Scorpions will be performed in the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, the organizers of the concert, the PMI corporation.

The Scorpions group was founded in Hanover in 1965, and achieved the greatest success in the 1980s. The total circulations of the Scorpions discs exceed 100 million copies, the group gave 5,000 concerts in 80 countries of the world.

Scorpions discography counts 19 studio albums, the last of which, “Comeblack” , was released in 2011. In 2015, the group will release a new album, the songs from which will be performed during the world tour.

In recent years, Scorpions announced the cessation of activities and went to farewell tours, but each time they canceled their decision. On the day of the St. Petersburg concert, Klaus Mine will turn 67 years old.
