On the evening of December 11, the representative of the PMC in the Irkutsk region Olga Sharafutdinova called prisoners from IK-19, located next to the village of Markovo, and talked about the death of the 26-year-old convicted Dmitry Stryakkov. He served the term of IK-19 under part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing serious bodily injuries, which resulted in death) since 2008, he had a year and a half left until the end of the term.

According to the interlocutors of Sharafutdinova, the 11th of Stryapkov was enclosed in a schizo. After he greeted the cellmates, the colony staff began to beat the man. Stryapkov shouted into the next camera: "Have you been beaten?" They answered him: "Yes, they beat." In other cameras, Kipesh began, ”the words of the prisoners retold Sharafutdinov. Entering the camera and seeing Stryapkov, the duty officer, as the cellmates claim, “laughing”, called the dentist. After that, the prisoner was taken away, and after two hours he died.

The prisoners from the IK-19, 28-year-old Ivan Naumov and 21-year-old Denis Cosrinev, who called Sharafutdinova-ended up on December 15 in the pre-trial detention center 1 of Irkutsk, where they were transferred immediately after Stryupkov’s death. After talking with them, Sharafutdinov called the Irkutsk morgues. The body of the prisoner was found in the morgue on Gagarin Boulevard, where “criminal” corpses are stored. The prisoner said that this happened within a few seconds, ”Sharafutdinov wonders.

The reasons why Naumov and Cosrinev could lie about what happened in IK-19 on December 15, Sharafutdinova are unknown. According to her, the prisoners themselves do not know why they were transferred to a pre -trial detention center. On the same day, December 15, lawyers tried to talk to them in the isolator, but the administration employees issued the paper signed by the prisoners that they did not need legal protection. The next day, at about 21:30, lawyers still managed to get into the insulator. “These two witnesses told them that they did not refuse the help of lawyers and human rights activists. They wrote a written statement with a request to provide legal protection: “In the event of my further written refusal, I ask you to consider this a pressure on me,” says the interlocutor of the Mediazones.

The head of IK-19 Kuznetsov on the day of the death of Stryapkov went on vacation, it is impossible for him to get through. The head of the press service of the Irkutsk department of the FSIN Olga Khindanov, in a conversation with the Mediazona, called the incident in the IK-19 SHIZO "Act of the acquaintance, bearing a demonstrative and step-by-step character." According to her, Stryapkov did not agree with the placement in the schizo. The representative of the State Unitary Enterprise of the FSIN claims that the “act of self -mutilation” was committed at 10:25 in the morning, and death was ascertained at 10:45. In the interval between this, the convict received a “set of resuscitation measures from a medical worker,” she says. The press service of the regional department of the SK said that on the fact of the death of the prisoner, a pre-investigation check is being conducted, but she has not yet given the results. Sharafutdinova clarified that after death, a pathologist carried out an autopsy of Stryapkov’s body. Investigators promise to promulgate the result of the examination.
