RTS index rose by 14%

According to the results of the trading session, on December 17, the dollar index of RTS grew by 14.16%, reaching the value of 718.26 points. At the same time, the Ruble MICEX index continued to decrease, falling by 2.11% to the mark of 1413.79 points.

The dollar and the euro also continued to decline. For the European currency at the time of the closing of the auction, 76.55 rubles were offered (8.6 rubles less than the day earlier), for the American - 62.1 rubles (5.4 rubles less than the day before).

• The ruble exchange rate sharply accelerated the fall in the first decade of December. On December 16, a collapse occurred in the foreign exchange market, the euro overcame the mark of 100 rubles during the auction, the dollar - 80 rubles.
