The cost of the state armaments program for the period up to 2025 will be reduced from 55 to 30 trillion rubles. This is stated in the report of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at an expanded meeting of the board of the department.

The Minister of Defense said that the cost of the state program could be reduced due to the fact that the work on the formation of the type of advanced models of weapons and equipment with similar functional and technical characteristics has already been completed.
