The US introduced new sanctions against Crimea

US President Barack Obama ordered new sanctions against Crimea.

The document signed by Obama prohibits US individuals and legal entities from exporting or importing any goods, services and technologies to/from Crimea. American companies and US citizens are also prohibited from purchasing real estate or commercial enterprises in Crimea, as well as investing in Crimean companies.

The sanctions imposed by Obama repeat the restrictive measures that the European Union previously imposed on Crimea.

Obama on Friday {December 19} signed a directive imposing sanctions on Crimea similar to those adopted by the European Union.
