Roem.ru publication was switched off for restart

On December 24, the online business publication Roem.ru was closed for renovations. As reported on the project's microblog, the site is going to be relaunched with a new design. TJ spoke with the founder of Roem.ru Yuri Sinodov about the relaunch.

The publication's website was completely unavailable.

As Yuri Sinodov, founder of Roem.ru, told TJ, no fundamental changes have been made to the site for the last seven years. According to him, the restart will take several hours, and its cost was 300-350 thousand rubles.

The site is being transferred to a new content platform - from Bitrix to Wordpress. The design will remain three-column, but the distribution of materials on the site and advertising formats will change.

Finally thinking about beauty. It will be beautiful. We have changed the rubric, but we will rely on the content that we wrote before. We are not going to become a popular publication: we will write news, business-business, boring-boring.

In early November, it became known that Sinodov moved to RBC to the position of deputy editor-in-chief, heading the department writing about the Internet and telecommunications. At the same time, the media manager promised to continue to work on Roem.ru, in which he still owns a share and which he did not sell when moving to RBC.

Updated December 25 at 18:18 : The publication opened with a new design. Thanks to the use of the WordPress platform, it now has a mobile version, and in terms of the editorial staff of Roem.ru, they have focused on covering the picture of the day with the help of links to third-party resources in the “Read” block.
