Oleg Sentsov was left under arrest until April

Today, December 26, the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow extended until April 11 the term of detention of Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov, accused of preparing terrorist attacks in Crimea.

This was reported by RAPSI . The lawyer asked Sentsov to change the measure of restraint, the prosecutor said that it took more time to complete the investigation in the case. In particular, investigators are going to conduct a number of examinations.

According to the investigation , in April, according to the “Right Sector” ( organization prohibited in the Russian Federation ), Simferopol director Oleg Sentsov created a terrorist group to “influence the decision on the decision by state authorities of the Russian Federation on the withdrawal of the Republic of Crimea from its composition”.

Sentsov in May was detained by the FSB officers in Simferopol and delivered to Moscow. The director denies involvement in the “right sector” and terrorist attacks in the Crimea, he says that all evidence against him is built on the testimonies of other defendants in the case.
