On December 27, a subbotnik is arranged to clear the room. “In January, on the baptism there will be brisons of the new theater platform of the Doc for the public, in February the 14th we open the new“ Theater.Doc ”,” the theater director reports.

“The work there is to restore the sea, it is inconceivable for the money. But this is all overcome. The theater cannot be closed. Because we are not afraid of them! ”, Mikhail Ugarov, the chief director of theater.doc. On his Facebook, he publishes the first version of the internal structure of the new theater premises.

In October, the Moscow Department unilaterally terminated the lease agreement with the theater due to the illegal redevelopment of the part of the premises that he rented.

The support of Russian and foreign cultural figures, including the playwright of Tom Stoppard , director Ivan Vyrypaev and critic John Friedman , did not help - in early December the theater received an order to release the premises.

Two weeks ago, theater.doc announced a fundraiser on the Internet. 43 days before the end of the crowdfanging campaign on the Planeta.ru website, it was possible to collect more than 470 thousand rubles out of the required 500 thousand.
