Kubana will return in 2015

The organizers of the Kubana International Musical Festival, which was held in the Krasnodar Territory until 2014, announced that it would again be held in 2015 in the previous format. The new venue for the festival has not yet been disclosed.

Since 2009, the Kubana festival has been held in the village of Veselovka on the Taman Peninsula, with the exception of 2013, when it was transferred to the Blagoveshchenskaya village on the Black Sea. Over six years, Kubana from the local festival has turned into an international musical event gathering hundreds of thousands of spectators.

Two weeks before the opening of Kubana-2014, the organizers announced that the festival would be held for the last time. This decision by organizational difficulties associated, in particular, with the “inadequate price policy of businessmen” in the festival places.

“The festival will be held next year, approximately in late July - early August ... We wanted to make a full announcement, but for certain reasons did not have time, but we did not have the right not to report this to fans of the festival,” the producer of the festival Ilya Ostrovsky told RIA Novosti .

He added that the date and venue of the festival will be told next year.
