Yesterday on YouTube (only for users from the United States) and on all torrent trackers in the world (for the rest), the online prime minister of the long-suffering comedy of Set Rogen and Evan Goldberg Interview was held. Superviations associated with the film, which allegedly almost served as a reason for the beginning of the third world (only people, who are completely unfamiliar with the propaganda ping-pong around the DPRK, can seriously take all this verbal leapfrog-are regularly appeared in the press about the executions of mortars from mortars or disinformation of the Northern Koreans regarding the results of the world's football championship in football. Of course, the film turned out to be a typical comedy with Set Rogen and all the topics attached to this comedian: bromance, ligalasis, mockery over interpreters, American show business and oneself. Cruming, I must say, is quite restrained in comparison with the previous works of Rogen, although in some places and murderously accurate; However, the uninitiated in the North Korean specificity is unlikely to understand the alarming tension of the hero Franco, who was alone slipping from the Pyongyang hotel, or the sacrilege of the artist-prostate, who was reduced by the sacred flowers of the kimchenirchva to ordinary geraniums.

In fact, a sane westernized viewer should not be very clear the indignation of the Koreans. That is, it is clear that in Pyongyang they did not watch not only the film itself, but also other works of Set Rogen and were offended preventively. And if they watched and read, then, perhaps, the July tests of Korean missiles of the short range, allegedly timed to the news about the imminent release of the film (then the premiere of Interviewing was planned for the fall), would have passed even more successfully.
Firstly, the main characters of the film, the CIA recruited by the CIA American journalists of the garbage show about the secret vices of celebrities (James Franco and Rogen), their favorite leader will not be eliminated. That is, of course, they will eliminate - but, so to speak, in the framework of self -defense, in the process of colorful exchange of bombing, and not in the process of implementing the treacherous plan of the American secret police, which in the film is also exhibited as a club of stupid, but insidious hawks that can only kill, kill and kill. Secondly, in the history of American cinema, “Interviews” is not the only attempt on the North Korean leader: in 2005, toy soldiers from the cartoon “team of America” were completely turned by Pope Kim Jong-un, the national leader Kim Jong Ira, and nothing.

The level of bullying of the enemy here is about the same as in Soviet combat film stakes (“The young Fritz - hung cats, cut birds”) or American comedies about the morals of “comrades” (a good example - “one, two” Billy Wilder). Moreover, it will go much more in the interview. The revealing television program of the heroes of Franco and Rogen represents us a parade of camming outs: Eminem turns out to be gay, McConacs fucks goats, and Gordon-Levitt experiences suspicious tenderness for puppies. In this series, the innocent weaknesses of the screen Kim Jong -un - the love of Katy Perry’s songs, the “Margarites” and the rally in the Soviet tank - seem signs of undoubted mental health. And the comedy itself is obviously non -political. For Rogen and his co-sister, Kim Jong-un is just an eccentric fat man, exactly the same object of their standard ridicule and a defendant of scenario cliches (the authors even manage to include their beloved leader in their favorite broth scheme), like Eminem, Gordon-Levitt, singer Perry or the trilogy of the ring.
© Sony PicturesIn fact, the conflict between the DPRK and Set Rogen is not so much political as, sorry for the involuntary pathos, civilizational. America Rogen (in a broad sense-he himself is actually from Canada)-this is a subculture of a bodily bottom, all-pervasive anal-genital humor, equally appropriate both for a story about a cheerful adventure and for the drama of a delicate crisis (“superperians”) or middle age. And in North Korea, cultural consciousness froze somewhere at the stage of the innocent and sentimental 1950s: what is quite allowed here in private life-jokes about sex or political jokes is completely inconceivable on stage or in the cinema (for example, Hollywood militants seem too aggressive and vulgar-unlike the superpopular there. Bollywood). With your own eyes, you can see the shock of the northern Koreans from a collision with the western comedy in the old but still ridiculous documentary “Red Capella”-there is a troupe of crooks from Holland (fat, paralytic and skinny red tricster), having arrived in Pyongyang in cultural exchange, experienced the patience of the receiving side with quite idiotic comic numbers (as a result, they nevertheless brought them accompanying CAGBABICH to tears). At some point, the sympathy of the audience even involuntarily switch to the Koreans: by golly, you can’t just come to visit a foreign country and mock the owners.
The real crime of the authors of the “Interview” is not that they dared to mentally encroach on the great leader (in the end, they are just such behavior from the Americans in the DPRK), but that they quite clearly portrayed him crying from self -pity, who were timid and doubt. It is easy to imagine a reaction to these scenes of responsible comrades, for which even the cut head of the statue of the leader in the frame is already an ideological sabotage. And an unforgivable genre mistake - in an attempt to give the irresistible and really ridiculous renunciation of everything in the world a humanistic justification. It is difficult to divide the pathos of comedians, in a minute of a rare cut of students of the imaginary Kim Jong -un, the rules for treating their no less imaginary people. Well, is it true, which of us would listen to notations from people, five minutes ago, put a ribbed container with poison in their ass?
