The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya is going to sue "faces"

The Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs intends to attract the “face” as a lawsuit by the claim for the protection of a business reputation for the publication “a resident of Grozny accused a senior official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya of torture,” placed in September 2013. This was announced on Thursday by the Committee against torture, representing the interests of the hero of the publication of Murad Amriev, to which the agency’s claim was initially filed.

The petition to attract "faces" is supposed to be submitted at the next meeting in the case, which is being considered by the Leninsky District Court of the Grozny. The hearings will be held on January 19, 2015; Start at 10:00.

Meanwhile, at a meeting on Thursday, a representative of the ministry filed a similar petition against the checkpoint itself. He asked the court to oblige the NGO to refute the message about the torture of Amriev, on the basis of which the publication of the "faces" was prepared.

“We are happy to adopt about our news notes,” commented on the petition of the Ministry of the PPP and representative of Amriev Anton Ryzhov. “We will call witnesses, study the materials. By the way, we should recall that, in contrast to the testimony conducted by the Investigative Committee, false testimonies of witnesses in court can lead to criminal liability.”

About the lawsuit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya against Amriev, who accused the senior official of the department Magomed Dashaev of kidnapping and torture, became known in mid -December . The ministry went to court on June 27, but none of the representatives of the department appeared at the meetings, although they were properly notified. On October 9, the court decided to leave an application without consideration in connection with the failure of the plaintiff. However, on December 8, this definition was canceled, and none of the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs again came to the meeting at the corresponding application.

Amriev was stolen in the center of Grozny in the evening of August 25, 2013. His car was blocked by the black "Lada Priora". Three men ran out of it. They pushed the townspeople into their car, putting his own T -shirt on his head, and took them away.

The abducted was taken to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Grozny, where, having stuck into handcuffs, they beaten, tortured with electricity for two days, suspended the ceiling and subjected to humiliations. From the city dweller they demanded that he signed certain documents that concerned the attempt in 2008 by the attempt on Dashaev. He did not have any information about the attempt of Amriene, but he was forced to sign the papers under torture.

In 2010, Amriev was already interrogated in this case. Dashaev suspected this crime of the older brother Amriev, who has long emigrated to Germany, thus being outside the reach of Chechen law enforcement officers.

On the evening of August 27, Dashaev, accompanied by about 15 police officers, brought Amriev to his parents and demanded that the older brother of the stolen return to Chechnya. The family replied that it could not guarantee this. In this case, Dashaev noted, all responsibility for the attempt will fall on his younger brother.

The next day, Amriev demanded that the police come to the police, but he ignored the call and left Chechnya. He later left Russia. Recently, Amriev, professionally involved in sports, became the world champion in mixed martial arts according to the World Metral Martial Arts Federation.

Meanwhile, the checkpoint began to seek the guilty of the abduction and torture of Amriev. Already on August 29, 2013, human rights activists submitted an appropriate application to the Chechen department of the TFR. Since then, the Investigative Department has issued 12 refusals to initiate a criminal case, which were subsequently canceled by the prosecutor's office, the court, or the leadership of the investigating authorities themselves. The last refusal is dated November 6, 2014.
