Taking to Kazan

On Sunday, the head of the local branch of the All -Tatar Public Center Rafis Kashapov was detained in Naberezhnye Chelny. This was announced on the same day on Kashapov's page on Facebook.

The security forces came to the social activist at 6 a.m. and, without demonstrating the decision to open a criminal case, began a search during which a laptop and all means of communication were seized. However, the number of the case is known: 83859. After the search of Kashapov, they took to Kazan, where, without charges, they were interrogated in the FSB.

It is claimed that the security forces are interested in the activist’s trip to Turkey, from which he returned immediately before the detention. Kashapov was in Turkey for treatment. At the same time, he established ties with representatives of Turkic public movements.

On December 23, Kashapov published in the publication Milliet ("Nation") - the blog of the All -Tatar Public Center - an appeal to "citizens of the Turkic world" , in which he called for the form of operational response to protect the rights of the Turkic peoples.

According to the site "Peoples of Russia", Kashapov has recently organized shares in defense of the Crimean Tatars and against Russian aggression in Ukraine. In addition, he advocated the president of the regional post in Tataria, protesting against the highest official in the republic is called something else.

In August 2014, Kashapov was arrested for five days for publication in Vkontakte of the Flag of the DPR with the swastika and the signature of Donetsk Reich.

In April 2009, the activist was sentenced to one and a half years conditionally under part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (excitement of hatred or enmity) for the publication in the personal blog of the series "There is no Christianization!".
