The arrest of the Estonian officer of Kochver was extended until April 5

The Lefortovo District Court of Moscow extended the stolen FSB officer Estonia Estona Kokhver the term of detention in the pre -trial detention center until April 5, 2015. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press secretary of the court, Julia Scotnikov. The arrest of an officer appointed by the October resolution expired on January 5.

According to the FSB, Kokhver was detained on September 5 in the Pskov region when he carried out an intelligence operation. In Estonia, however, they insist that the FSB abducted an officer in Estonian territory.

Kokhver was charged with Article 276 of the Criminal Code (espionage), which provides for 10 to 20 years of the colony.

On September 10, the Estonian Foreign Ministry said that to protect the officer to the country's government , lawyers Mark Feigin and Nikolai Polozov hired . However, a week later it became known that Kokhver refused their services . On September 18, deputies of the European Parliament called on the European Union to rethink relations with Russia . In their resolution, in particular, they condemned the abduction of an Estonian officer and demanded that Russia "immediately free Eston Kokhver and allow him to safely return to Estonia."
