Kyiv, Institute Street

The Maidan, however, managed to recapture the attacks and turn Golden Eagle with Yanukovych to flight.
At the end of November, the Kiev city Rada, at the suggestion of the mayor, Vitaly Klitschko, renamed the part of the institute street from Independence Square to Olginskaya Street in the Heroes of Heavenly Hundred Heroes. Here, a monument to the heroes is composed from the paving stones and the chapel is consecrated in memory of the dead.
Sochi, Krasnaya Polyana

The natural reserve turned into an Olympic object - the Rosa Khutor ski resort, which is associated with a number of environmental and corruption scandals. According to the Corruption Fund, the cost of construction amounted to 85.7 billion rubles. Vladimir Potanin received the bulk of the funds on credit from the state, and then recognized the project to be inquired and asked to write off interest on loans in the amount of 17 billion rubles. About 250 hectares of natural forest and alpine meadows were completely destroyed on the territory of the Rosa Khutor, the work on the slopes of the AIBG ridge led to constant landslides and villages, the pollution of the Mzymta River and the disappearance of deer and bears that had once lived here.

Odessa, house of trade unions

On May 2, bloody clashes occurred in Odessa between activists of the local Maidan and Antimaydan. The battles began on Novosobornaya Square. The police not only did not interfere with the riots, but also covered the anti -Maidan people who used firearms. Subsequently, the massacre moved to the house of trade unions, where the headquarters of Anti -Maidan was located. Some of the anti -Maidanians continued to shoot from the roof, many people were inside the building. From the cocktails of Molotov and, possibly, targeted or random arsons of the building from the inside there was a fire. Several people died of burns, most died from poisoning with carbon monoxide and other unknown gases. There is evidence that before the fire in the building there were fights. In total, 48 people became victims of clashes on May 2.
GPP in Armyansk

On May 3, thousands of Crimean Tatars broke through the cordon of Russian special forces and met their leader Mustafa Dzhemilev in a checkpoint in Armenian. Dzhemilev was not missed again to the Crimea. The entrance to the peninsula was blocked by the Russian military on Urals and armored personnel carriers. After that, the Crimean Tatars blocked several tracks. A week later, the protesters began to receive subpoenas in court. About 200 people are fined by administrative articles. Searches and arrests began under the 318th article of the Criminal Code (the application of violence to representatives of the authorities).
Donetsk airport

The battles in the Donetsk airport between the Ukrainian army and pro-Russian militants continue almost as much as the military conflict in the southeast of Ukraine. The Ukrainian security forces took the airport in May. During the fall, they repulsed numerous attempts to take the airport storm, and still retain control over the new terminal. Defenders of the Donetsk airport received the nickname "Cyborgs". On December 13, the office of the consolidated mobile group of human rights activists was set on fire in the house of Rosa Luxembourg Street. This happened after the head of the SMG Igor Kalyapin criticized the practice of the Chechen authorities to demolish the houses of relatives of alleged militants. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced human rights activists working in the republic, foreign agents, and Kalyapin accused of financing terrorism. Armed people tried to penetrate the SMG office, and the employees staged a chase. SMG lost a permanent room. Kalyapin said his team would continue to work in Chechnya.
Pskov region, cemetery in ravines

At the end of August, in the village near Pskov, the secret funeral of paratroopers who died in Ukraine took place. The first to announce this by the local journalist and deputy Lev Schlosberg, the publisher of the newspaper Pskov Province. According to him, the military personnel of the 76th Guards Airborne Forces Division Leonid Kiccatkin and Alexander Osipov were buried in the bastards. Moscow journalists who took photos of graves with the names of paratroopers were attacked by the cemetery. Schlosberg himself was attacked on August 29, he received a traumatic brain injury, temporary amnesia, nose fracture and multiple hematomas.
Kaliningrad, a monument to the astronauts

In the center of Kaliningrad on Mira Avenue, several shares were held against Russian aggression in Ukraine. They threw eggs into activists, doused with green. Not far from Mira Avenue is the building of the local department of the FSB. On March 11, Oleg Savvin, Mikhail Feldman and Dmitry Fonarev hung a German flag there , parodying the actions of Ukrainian "supporters of federalization". Activists were accused of insulting the political guidelines of the inhabitants of Russia. All three are under arrest under the criminal article "Hooliganism".
Moscow, Manezhnaya Square

Last year, this square became the center of Moscow protest activity. Throughout the year, single pickets were regularly held at Zhukov’s monument in support of swamp prisoners. Here, the Olympic watch was protested against corruption and lies at the Sochi Olympics. In early March, a massive inconsistent gathering against the war with Ukraine took place on Manezhnaya. The number of detainees on the arena in late February - early March exceeded a thousand. The protests took place in the form of large folk gatherings, single pickets, theatrical performances (a military criminal Putin walking in a prisoner robe).
On December 30, a popular gathering took place on Manezhnaya after the sentence to the brothers Navalny in the "postal case".
