The Ministry of Justice of Russia introduced six more non -profit organizations to the register of foreign agents, TASS reports.

“Foreign Agents” recognized the Freedom Freedom Freedom Fund, as well as three NPOs from St. Petersburg: the public human rights organization “Civil Control”, “Resource Human Rights” and the Public Organization of the Voter League. The list also included two regional organizations: "Man and Law" from the Republic of Mari El and "Center for Social Design" Renaissance "from the Pskov region.

Thus, at least 30 non -profit organizations have already been included in the register of NPO - foreign agents in Russia.

The Minister of Justice Alexander Konovalov in an interview with Rossiy Gazeta said that the political nature of all NKO-foreign agents has no doubt among the Ministry of Justice.

The Law on NPOs - "Foreign Agents" was adopted in the summer of 2012. He obliges NPOs engaged in political activities and receiving financing from abroad to accept the status of "foreign agents" with the subsequent entry into a special register. In June 2014, amendments were made to him that allow the Ministry of Justice to force NPOs in the register of foreign agents.

Some NPOs included in the list of foreign agents are trying to challenge this status through the court.

On December 19, the leader of the movement, human rights activist Lev Ponomarev said that in the Ministry of Justice he was awarded documents on the recognition of the organization by the ino -agent following a recent unscheduled audit. “I do not agree. I will appeal all this, ”said Ponomarev then. According to the human rights activist, in the last two years the organization has been working with Russian money - from presidential grants. Ponomarev added that he received only a few private foreign donations that went to pay lawyers, utility bills and the purchase of equipment.

Last week, it became known that the Ministry of Justice recognized the Museum and Public Center named after academician Andrei Sakharov. Today at the general meeting, his employees must decide whether they will appeal this decision of the authorities in court. As Interfax told the Executive Director of the Sakharov Center Sergey Lukashevsky, he believes that it is necessary to sue.
