2014 went into history. And even more - as the head of government Medvedev D.A. , "... the whole history of our country was divided for the period until 2014 and after 2014." And why? - Because the year was violent. In the sense of stormy.

Of course, you can list for a long time the key events that happened in the world in 2014. All sorts of ebola there; Komet Churumova - Gerasimenko with a probe saddled her; Fatal bad luck "Malaysian airlines"; Even the migration of a whole peninsula from one state to another. However, it so seems to me that for the inhabitants of Russia, what is happening in our country, around our country and what awaits us all in the end is significant.

I would venture to say that such moments of the truth of 2014 for Russia and Russians are actually two. The first: the efforts of the Russian government, the national idea of the state and society proclaimed the readiness and desire to be a second -grade country. I understand that it sounds insulting, and even insulting. But - what is, that is.

The illustration of this is self -syncation - the decision that has already become a parable of the decision to abandon good products in favor of ... other products. And the point here is not in Hamon and Mozarell as such. And not that Europe has nowhere to put its products and she incurred losses. And we would be pleased with this. It's different. Let's be honest in front of ourselves and say aloud what we think and know:

- Norwegian salmon tastier and better than Kamchatka and Murmansk salmon;

- Spanish ham is better than Tambov and Belarusian;

- French cheese is tastier and better than Kostroma;

- "Mercedes" is better than "Lada", and "Boeing" is better than "silt".

But what is proclaimed? - We are ready to refuse all this.

And if it is required for self -identification, we will also refuse insulin, which is completely imported. And from diapers that are invented in the West and are made in our Western technology and on Western equipment. And from xeroxes, printers ... Because it all is also not Russian products. Well, and tomographs, oncological drugs, elementary drops and spray from a cold ...

That is, the Russians are ready to have the worst quality of life; The worst level of medicine; The worst level of communications, the safety of flights ... Everyone can continue this row itself, including oysters, imported pork, apples, pasta - everything that the soul wishes. Will the people and the country be able to survive and exist in the conditions of a total refusal to achieve world civilization? - Undoubtedly, yes. And even, perhaps, for a long time. Will such a life of the people and country be full? Contributing to the development? Realizing the potential of people? - As Comrade Sukhov said, ".. this is unlikely."

It so happened that I had to travel a lot around Africa. In Sudan, in the Nubian desert, there are tribes that live quite self -sufficient and probably have a sense of dignity. They consider themselves full -fledged people ... They have a bad thing with water there, so any source of moisture is precious. I happened to see how the children are used as such moisture - to wash, refresh - the urine of the cows. That is, they are waiting for the cow to pull the tail, begins to write - and then they run up and wash under the stream ... Moisture - it is moisture when there is no real water. I would not want Russia to be pleased with the cow urine, while the whole world was washed out by water.

Because even if Russia will take a step forward with a monstrous tension of all forces and tendons, the same West will take two. And even if Russia will do two, and the West - one, their step and ours will never be commensurate. Achilles will never catch up with the turtle ...

Now the second moment of truth. And he is: the king was naked. Or the kingdom turned out to be naked. Or maybe both. For 20 years, Russia confidently got up from the knees. He gained herself-morally, Orthodoxly, proudly-national. The enemies hissed and built intrigues. The fifth column was dirty from the inside. But it seems that everything grew steadily - GDP, budget, income. The number of billionaires. Billions of gas cubic meters to Europe. Rating and support of the people. The number of Orthodox churches. Skolkovo. Nanoprom. Yotaphone. Customs Union and BRICS. Ask an ordinary Russian model of 2014, and he will say: "We are all, the West is nothing." Because we have it . And they have no future. The title "Man of the Year". Attempts to nominate him to the Nobel Prize. Overflow ratings. And the faith of society has already appeared that it is enough to order it - and the rivers will flow back, the birth rate will increase, and the enemies of the country will fall. Epithets such as "outplayed everyone", "washed", "did not bother." And also - kept, provided and showed.

He showed that he firmly knows what the country and the people need. The world. Save and protect. From all adversity. Do not believe? And here you are: "His country was sent by the Lord." With this leader of the state, Russians can sleep calmly and for a long time. The fate of the country and the world is in good hands, because so? .. And suddenly ... something that happened. The ruble drowned. Inflation has taken off. Prices in Russia jumped upward by 20-50. The price of oil lives its own life and does not depend on Russia. But it turned out that all of Russia depends on it. Suddenly it turned out that the world order, laws of the economy, civilizational values of the world do not obey him !!! And even in his own country: he orders the ruble to stand, but he is not worth it !!! And the rating of 80%, coupled with the assumption that everything is formed by itself (after a couple of years), does not prevent panic buying out of dollars, televisions and buckwheat.

That is, over the past 15 years:

- "Fifth Column" defeated (although still breathing),

- They will disappear without our gas,

- the vertical of the power of reinforced concrete and super -effective,

- Without our "unions" no one is able to fly into space,

- BRICS and the Customs Union - graves of the EEC and WTO; Obama, Merkel, Oland - weaknesses,

- The people are exclusively "for".

And the economy is growing in them in China, and not with us !!! Along the way, it turned out that shale oil is reality, contrary to the confidence of his advisers in the opposite. And that the role of Russia in the global oil market is an exaggeration, let's say. And that the effectiveness of the financial system built by his officials is an exaggeration, let's say. And that the scientific and technical level of the country, for 15 years now led to its permanent leader, is close to the coma state ... And that, despite the exceptional authority of Russia among the allies in the former USSR and the social camp-from Belarus to Cuba, the allies suddenly began to creep ... And even about all the little things like an amazing combination of the Orthodox foundations of Russians with the decision to advertise alcohol. Television - in connection with economic expediency - I am not even saying.

You can continue for a long time. There is no sense. You just look at this, and the famous fairy tale Anderson comes to mind: "And the king is naked!" But. It is worth agreeing with the president who aptly noted that if not for Ukraine, there would be a different reason for us to have problems. Only I would clarify: the occasion is not in order to impose sanctions against us, but in order for the ruble to collapse, inflation and prices take off, and the economy stops.

Because the country's position is so weak that any more or less serious reason for leaving at steep peak is enough. And if we accept that the president is bright, protruding and steering correctly, then the reason is not in him. And in the country. And naked is not a king, but a kingdom. That is, Russia can do nothing but the sale of oil and gas. I have not learned the past oil years of "getting up-colen" over the past oil years. He does not know how to earn money, science, technology. He does not know how to feed himself. Do not know how to make effective and modern medicines and treat them with them.

Patriotic screams that we do not need no one and that we will create our Windows , our Visa , our smartphone, our Parmesan and Hamon, and so on, and so on - indicate only one thing: we are not creating all this. Let's be honest again - at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the century, XXI Russia missed its chance to take a place in the cabin of the locomotive of civilization. Because even if Russia will take a step forward with a monstrous tension of all forces and tendons, the same West will take two. And even if Russia will do two, and the West - one, their step and ours will never be commensurate. Achilles will never catch up with the turtle ...
