The Ministry of Health must take all the necessary measures so that the country does not occur in the country. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev gave such an order during a meeting with the head of the department Veronika Skvortsova, the press service of the government reports .
According to Medvedev, a supply of drugs should be formed. This is especially true against the backdrop of a negative economic situation, the prime minister emphasized.
Medvedev noted that some time ago he signed a resolution regarding the organization of work to provide the population with vital drugs. Skvortsova, in turn, said that a new list of vital drugs increased by 50 positions.
"A total of 608 drugs are now 67 percent (413 drugs) either produced in Russia or it is preparations localized in the Russian Federation," the minister said. According to her, today in all regions of Russia there are enough stocks of vital drugs.
"At present, in all regions of the Russian Federation there are reserves of the necessary drugs. In the 71st region, for at least 4.5 months of the current year, and in other regions from one and a half to two months," Skvortsova said. At the same time, she noted that with regions in which there are fewer reserves, the ministry works in the "manual" mode.
In October, it was reported that the Government and the State Duma Committee on Health Protection are developing an amendment to the bill "On Medicines for Medicines", which involves the introduction of state regulation of prices for medicinal products .
“In law, we will only prescribe the principles of prichandalization by the state, but the government will subsequently develop the methodology itself,” said Sergey Kalashnikov, chairman of the Duma health care committee. It is assumed that the technique will be formed with a focus on the reference price of the sale of a drug in the group of countries and with the establishment of a price barrier for each specific drug. The supplier who exceeded the maximum price will not be automatically allowed to the Russian market. According to legislators, this measure will help to avoid artificial overstatement of prices.
Currently, the state regulates prices only for vital and most important drugs.
At the end of October, Vedomosti, citing market participants, reported that leading world drug producers can refuse to produce vital and most important drugs in Russia due to the fall of the ruble exchange rate. Due to the devaluation of the national currency, the production of such drugs becomes unprofitable, experts surveyed by the publication said.
Vital drugs account for 34.3 percent of the commercial segment of the pharmaceutical market, that is, the sale of drugs in pharmacies. Its turnover last year amounted to 609 billion rubles, of which 77.5 percent of them were imported.
