The main owner of the AFK System Vladimir Yevtushenkov said that he was not holding grievances against power, and considers the situation with the "Bashneft", the shares of which were returned to the state. He stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

“If you, so to speak, sprinkle your head with ashes and mourn some losses - you will not go further anymore. That is, it’s a pity to become yourself ... I don’t return to this, I look further,” Yevtushenkov said.

Answering the question of whether he holds a grudge against power, the businessman said: "Well, are you laughing, or what? I am the flesh from the flesh of this country - what is the insult." He also stated that he did not intend to turn the business. “If everyone, as they say, is profitable, everything works quite successfully - then why turn off? We don’t have a business in a group that would be unprofitable, so I don’t see the meaning,” Yevtushenkov said.

Answering the question of how he survived the latest events, including domestic arrest, Yevtushenkov said: “It would be stupid to deny that this is not any subject for experience. Of course, it is normally. But you understand that you cannot live the past, you need to live the future. I live the future, and the past is left in the past.”

The Investigative Committee of Russia suspects Yevtushenkov of legalizing the stolen assets by buying Bashtack companies, the entrepreneur spent three months under house arrest. The arrest was lifted on December 17.

The Moscow Arbitration Court on October 30 completely satisfied the lawsuit of the First Deputy Prosecutor General of Alexander Buksman, having demanded 81.7 percent of ordinary and 20.8 percent of the Bashneft’s privileged shares in favor of the Sistema AFC and its Daughter System-Invest in favor of the state. The court decided that the shares of the companies of the Bashkir TEK in the 1990s were illegally fixed in regional property, and therefore all subsequent transactions with them were void.
