Alexei Navalny was detained after leaving the building where the Ekho Moskvy radio station is located. According to Mediazona, Navalny, who had previously announced that he was ceasing to comply with the house arrest regime, was put into a police car and taken in an unknown direction. According to the Ekho Moskvy blog, the radio station employees said that Navalny was detained “until the circumstances are clarified.” Later, the press service of the Moscow police department reported that Navalny would be handed over to the FSIN.
