In Veliky Novgorod, the driver rammed a public transport stop. Two people died, four were injured. The culprit disappeared from the scene of the accident. Later, the police found him, it turned out that the driver was drunk.

The emergency occurred at a stop at the Slavic Fair shopping center on Korsunov Avenue at about 20:00. An elderly woman died at the scene of the accident. Another woman died in the emergency room of the Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital.

After the accident, the driver of a car, which drove to the stop, disappeared from the scene of the accident. The police detained him near the house where he lived.

The examination showed that the driver was drunk, the representative of the Novgorod Regional Directorate of the traffic police told Interfax : "The tests showed that the driver’s content of the driver was 1.338 ppm, and this is a lot."

The traffic police reported that the condition of the two victims was “very serious”, and the doctors let go home.
