The head of the presidential administration, who was suspected of ties with the United States, was stolen in Yemen

A group of armed people abducted the head of the administration of President Yemen in the capital of the country Sanya, reports Arch with reference to government sources.

Ahmed Avad Mubarak and several more people were abducted in the south of the capital. Their car was stopped by the militants, after which the official and the people accompanying him was taken away in an unknown direction, the Russian Air Force Service reports with reference to the AFP.

No requirements for redemption have been received.

One of the representatives of the authorities accused the abduction of the Khusit militants who took control of the capital.

46-year-old Ahmed Avad Mubarak last year, in the midst of protests, a supporter of the Shiite movement "Ansar Allah", was appointed Prime Minister of the country. A day later, he abandoned his post because of the objections of the Shiite opposition. Then the leader of Khusitov Abdel Malik al-Husi said that the USA stood behind the candidate of Mubarak.
