In January, Minister Kotyna met in Washington with his American colleague John Kerry and also discussed the situation in Ukraine. "Our positions with Secretary of State Kerry coincide - we can’t talk about the elimination or mitigation of sanctions, since they are effective. In turn, Europe and the free world - the USA, Canada, Australia, all these countries should speak in one voice, then the politician in relation to Russia will be effective, and I believe that it will be so," the Grzegozh said schematic.

What exactly will the Prime Minister Eva Kopach and President Peter Poroshenko say is not known, but there is no doubt that this will be a meeting of politicians of the two friendly countries. From the very beginning, Poland supported the new Ukrainian authorities. Exactly a month, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko discussed in Warsaw the issues of security in the region, cooperation of Kyiv and the EU with Polish leaders, as well as the assistance of Poland in carrying out reforms in Ukraine. Poroshenko also spoke to both chambers of the Polish parliament, saying then:

Polish assistance to Ukraine is not limited to sending experts to Kyiv and lobbying for Ukrainian interests in the international arena. The delivery of humanitarian aid was organized, work is underway on the creation of a joint military unit-the Polish-Ukrainian-Lithuanian brigade, whose Lublin headquarters also visited in December Petro Poroshenko along with the Minister of Defense of Poland Tomasha Semonyak. “The visit emphasizes the significance of this large joint project-the Polish-Ukrainian-Lithuanian brigade, the creation of which was signed in September. We want the brigade to be created as soon as possible. It is originally planned to complete this process in 2016, but now there is a task to do it faster,” said Tomash Semonyak.

Already in the first quarter of this year, about two dozen Ukrainian officers will appear in the headquarters of the brigade headquarters.
