The arrest of Rufer Pryzov was extended until March 20

The Tagansky district court of Moscow extended the Rufer Vladimir Podrezov, the defendant of the "high -rise case", the term of detention in the pre -trial detention center until March 20. This was reported by RAPSI.

Sharzov and his lawyer insisted on transferring under house arrest or release under subscription. Nevertheless, the judge took the side of the investigator and the prosecutor. They referred to the increased complexity of the case, which, according to their statements, lies in a large number of defendants and a significant number of procedural actions that need to be carried out as part of the investigation.

The same court extended on Monday - also until March 20 - home arrests of another four defendants in the case - Beisjampers, Alexander Pogrebova, Anna Lepeshkina, Alexei Shirokhovova and Evgenia Korotkova. The defendants and their defenders also sought to be released, however, the court refused them, and the investigator and the prosecutor gave the same arguments against the liberation as in the case of Prezov.

Basjampers were detained on the morning of August 20, 2014 after a jump from the Stalin skyscraper on the Kotelnikiye embankment and accused that they painted the top of the golden star on the spire of the building in blue, so it began to resemble the flag of Ukraine. In fact, this action was held before the morning of the Ukrainian Rufer Pavel Uchetsy (Grisha Mustang); A few days later, he took responsibility for painting a star.

Meanwhile, the athletes were charged with parts of 2 articles 213 and 214 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism and vandalism committed by a group of people) and sent under house arrest. Their persecution was not discontinued even after the Unehchza’s statement, despite the fact that this statement gave the investigation an occasion to start the case against the Ukrainian athlete himself, as well as to detain and arrest his acquaintance - the 19 -year -old Petersburger Podrezov.

Moreover, the investigator Dmitry Minov, who initially was conducting the case, sought testimonies not only on the Uthets, but also the Beisjampers, despite the fact that the main witness, Kirill Ishutin, refuted the latter's involvement in the action.

In December, Minov resigned from the Ministry of Internal Affairs- it was claimed that it was because of the "high-rise case" , which is falling apart due to the lack of corpus delicti. After that, the case was entrusted to the investigator by the name of Krivorukov.

As of December 22, no investigative actions in the “high -rise case” have been conducted for three weeks. Then the lawyers of Beisjampers prepared in the ECHR to delay the complaint of the investigation.
