Politzek Kashapov announced a hunger strike

The political prisoner Rafis Kashapov, the head of the department of the All -Tatar Public Center in Naberezhnye Chelny, declared a political hunger strike against the arbitrariness of the authorities, his arrest and illegal initiation of a criminal case. Kashapov is starving from 9:00 Monday. This was reported to the "Frances" by human rights activist Renat Nurali.

The 56-year-old Kashapov is contained in the SIZO-1 in Kazan as the accused under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (excitement of hatred or enmity), which provides for the four years of the colony.

He was detained at home on the morning of December 28. After the search, he was taken to Kazan. The next day, the judge of the Soviet district court of the Tatar capital Eric Khabibullin arrested the activist until the end of February.

The publication is charged with a publication on a personal page on VKontakte in July - December 2014 of three texts and one demotivator. We are talking about the image "where Russia is - there are tears and death" , placed on the social network on July 6, and about the texts "protect Ukraine and the entire Turkic world!" (November 23), "Yesterday - Hitler and Danzig, today - Putin and Donetsk!" (November 26) and "Crimea and Ukraine will be free from the invaders!" (December 1). At the same time, the author of the first of the texts mentioned is not an activist himself, but his twin brother Nafis Kashapov is also a well -known public figure who has been living in exile in Warsaw since 2005.

As stated in the conclusion of a comprehensive psychological-linguistic and political study, which is based on the accusation, Kashapov’s publications “contain statements and calls of varying degrees of registration, modeling the language of enmity and aiming at inciting hatred between groups allocated by mixed attitude-nationality, accommodation in a certain territory, attitude towards power,” as well as “psychological signs of information aimed at initiating the growth of ranging ranges (enmity) regarding representatives of the category of “they/aggressor” (“new unrecognized authorities of the peninsula”, “Russian punishers”, “Vladimir Putin”, “Russia”, “Russians”, “Russians”), allocated by a mixed basis. ”

Meanwhile, the Owl's information and analytical center indicated that the authors of the examination directly violated the law, saying that the named publications are exciting hatred, since the decision of this issue is within the competence of the court. At the same time, having familiarized themselves with the publications imputed by Kashapov, the “Owls” concluded: “There are no signs of arousing hatred on national soil in these materials. We found them and calls for military operations. As for the criticism of the Russian authorities, you should not forget that according to the explanation of the Supreme Court regarding the practice of the use of anti -ecstromist legislation, it should not be considered as arousal of hatred and persecuted by the initiation of hate and persecuted Article 282 of the Criminal Code ".

On January 14, members of the Republican PMC visited Kashapov in jail. According to the Kazan Owl agency, the Politsek said that he had no complaints about the conditions of detention. In particular, he noted, lawyers are allowed to be allowed. At the same time, he spoke about psychological pressure from the FSB and CPE operatives. What exactly it is, the agency did not specify.

This is the second case, initiated against Kashapov under part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code. The verdict on the first was issued in April 2009. Then the activist received a year and a half conditionally for published on a personal blog texts against Russification and Christianization, as well as the appeal of the Chechen armed underground. In September of the same year, all these texts were recognized as extremist .

On August 8, 2014, the Naberezhnye Chelninsky City Court arrested Kashapov for five days for the publication on the personal VK page of the two images of the swastika. One is contained on the collage with the flag of the "DPR" and the signature "Donetsk Reich", the second - in the photo of the Russian "volunteer" in Ukraine: the swastika is tattered on his shoulder. The administrative persecution of the activist was initiated by the CPE, who tracked his publications on social networks.

Then, in Poland, shares of protest against the arrest of Kashapov were held in front of the embassies of Russia and Ukraine.
