
The Investigative Committee excited against the civil activist Mark Halperin, the case under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code (repeated violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, processing or picket). This was reported by the ATS-Info, citing public defender of activist Alla Frolova. Halperin faces up to five years in the colony.
As Frolova said, Galperina, who is now serving a 38-day administrative arrest in a special-reception in the volume, was taken to the Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Central District of Moscow. At the same time, the defender added, the activist was kept in the car in slippers for six hours, which is why he caught a cold.
At interrogation, Halperin refused the services of an appointed lawyer, as well as - referring to Article 51 of the Constitution - from testimony. Nevertheless, the state department was present during interrogation and signed some papers.
This is the second case under Article 212.1, introduced in the Criminal Code in July 2014. The first was excited on Friday against 75-year-old Vladimir Ionov , who was judged on the same day by administrative articles for the same shares as Halperin, but they were not appointed, but fines.
At the same time, the investigation of the case was entrusted to a group of nine investigators. Such a decision in the decision was explained by the fact that "in the case it is necessary to carry out a large amount of investigative actions."
