Who is the most stupid people Moscow schoolchildren: Poll "Medus"

At the end of 2014, at the request of Medusa, journalist Anastasia Belyaeva went to one of the Moscow schools to ask schoolchildren the most popular children's question: who is a fool? 120 students (grades 7-10) received profiles in which they were invited to name three main fools-and justify their choice. In the “stupid top”, in addition to others, foreign politicians have fallen about which state media tell the most: Poroshenko, Klitschko, Obama and Psaki.

The survey was conducted in Moscow school No. 2009. This educational institution is included in the rating of schools that showed high educational results in the 2013-2014 academic year (130th place). The school was also among the winners of the “competition for the status of regional innovative sites for the formation of an innovative educational environment” in the nomination “Programming, modeling, design, drawing”. In addition, the school took 2nd place in the ranking of educational organizations of the South-Western District of Moscow based on the results of sports and health work.

The survey in no case should be considered a full sociological study. Nevertheless, its results seem to be indicative.

And also: “a person who is cruel”, “a person provoking a conflict”, “the one who goes to war” and “the one who considers himself above others.” 28% (10 people) explained their answer.

8th grade (21 people), 13-14 years old

10th grade (16 people) , 15-17 years old

I'm not a fool: General information

The answers of children of different ages were very different. For example, the answer “I am a fool” most often met in the 7th grade; But the students of the 8th and 10th grade never answered so. Hitler in the 7th grade called three people a fool; In other classes, he was not called at all.

Most of the complicated answers were discovered in the 9th and 10th grades: 32% and 71%, respectively. In the 8th grade, only one student replied: "I do not know." At the same time, 13% of eighth -graders called their friends fools (there were practically no such category in other classes).

The least candidates for fools nominated the 10th grade. 16 people were able to name only three fools - famous people; The rest either did not name anyone or called classmates.

As for the substantiation of their answers, seventh graders coped best with this. 28% of the answers received argumentation. In the 8th grade, only one student of 21 surveyed was able to explain his choice.

There was not a single class in the school, in which they do not consider some classmate personally a fool. Judging by the survey, most of all, it was in the 8th grade. In each class there was a child who was called a fool more often than others.

In the 9th grade, a boy was discovered, whom every fifth called a fool. This schoolboy in the questionnaire wrote: “The largest fool is Putin (because, in my opinion, he is very vile). In detail, I will tell you personally. No, he is smart, but in foreign policy he is considered a liability and a fool. ” The same boy is the only one of all who called the politician a fool and was able to justify his choice.

The most stupid politicians, according to 120 schoolchildren surveyed: Klitschko (10 results), Obama (9), Poroshenko (6), Psaki (3).
