The annual budget deficit reached 0.5% of GDP

The federal budget deficit amounted to 328 billion rubles in 2014, this is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. This figure corresponds to 0.5% of the country's GDP, which is estimated at 72.3 trillion rubles.

The income of the treasury in 2014 amounted to 14.5 trillion rubles at expenses in the amount of 14.8 trillion rubles. 90% of the income were collected by the Federal Customs and Federal Tax Services.

In 2015, expenses may exceed income in a much larger amount than 0.6% of GDP declared in the federal budget. The deficit can amount to 1.3% of the country's economy following the results of the current year, the Bank of Russia predicted.

On behalf of Dmitry Medvedev, made according to the results of the economic meeting, the Ministry of Finance must prepare amendments to the main financial document until February 27.
