Correspondents of the Ukrainian service of Radio Liberty visited the village of Peski, Donetsk Region of Ukraine on January 20, 2015, where on this day the next wave of evacuation of local residents began due to intensified shelling. The Donetsk airport, for which battles recently resumed, is located just a few kilometers from this settlement. The situation in the sands, including, from the point of view of defense, is told by the commander of the OUN battalion Nikolai Koganivsky and his deputy, a fighter with the call sign of Skiba.
